UAB Ukmergės staklės (PLLC) was established on November 7, 2000 on the base of former state-owned mechanical repair plant. Company acquired gear making and other steel processing equipment, production facilities and highly qualified staff: turners, welders, millers, technologists, mechanics and other metalworkers.
Thanks to the experience gained during many years at state repair mechanical plant and with input from new skilled employees Ukmergės stalės has successfully been around for 14 years. During these years the company has maintained its core specialization: manufacture of gears, shafts and other rotating components. Also company is expanding in sheet metal processing area.
Part of the production is supplied to Latvia, Estonia, Germany and Sweden. The rest serves the needs of Lithuanian enterprises, farmers and individuals.
On October 2005 company moved from the former repair mechanical plant to new facility. The company is now located in the 2.4-hectare site, which covers 3500 square meters of production space.
The company employs 35 people.
